A detective with an impossible task
Pinkerton detective, Joshua Brookings, is sent on a job that seems simple on the surface. His fellow detective has been kidnapped and his boss, William Pinkerton, senses foul play. I truly am sadden that this series cane to a end. I read all 5 but not in order. 😊 I enjoyed them so much Faith you are a awesome writer. I have it s 5 star rating for when I read a book that hits all my emotions from laughter to crying to bring angry at a character in a book it's a great read and truly creative author. I loved how you put a lot of scripture throughout the books. How you displayed even the strong in Christ will have their struggles and doubts. Perfect I an on to the other series of your books that follow the orphans and the mail order brides. God bless and keep you strong in your writing and life.Product details

Great author. Enjoyable story line and great to have it include so many quotes from the bible. Great series!
I look forward to reading the next series, as I got this book this morning and couldn't put it down, so have finished the series now. Unfortunately, I didn't get much else done, but highly recommend her books
I can't wait to read the next series. This series was so inspiring and heartfelt. I just loved all the characters and the story line. It was so uplifting. Thank you so much Faith Blum for writing such an awesome series. I would recommend this series to anyone wanting a closer walk with the Lord.
I loved this series and was sad to read the last page but it was a wonderful conclusion to the book. As with all the others I learned so much from the characters. I love how there was so much scripture woven in. I also love all the hymns. I recommend these books highly....they were so enjoyable!
This is the fourth book I've read by Faith, but the first that wasn't a novella. It was wonderful to see how she could develop (and keep track of) so many different characters! Faith's stories are an amazing reminder that we may lose our path, but can find it again, and this was no different. (Thank you, Faith!!) THE SOLID ROCK has a combination of faith, suspense, family, friends, new romances, and personal growth. My eyes have opened a bit and are now reflecting on my life and where I am at this moment.
I have so enjoyed and been blessed in each of these books in this series. I have not read a series of books that are so well written in my sixty some years as these stories are. Thank you for adding an epilogue to this story. Great characters strong story lines and beautifully included Bible verses that fit perfectly. Everyone will be touched in some way while reading this series..
I am a 78 year old male reader. I have begun many series books but have seldom read them all. I am a church pianist, so the hymns have been a part of my life for almost 70 years. I read all of these books and thoroughly enjoyed them. The characters in the books seemed real to me and they were in believable situations. I was a cowboy at heart so that was appealing too. I would recommend these books to anyone, particularly Christ followers.
